Dr. Benjamin Cold actively performs and teaches clarinet throughout the United States. As an experienced orchestral performer, he has participated in numerous ensembles including the Shreveport Symphony, the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the Mankato Symphony and the Sioux City Symphony.  Dr. Cold is a sought after clinician, offering lectures and performances at various secondary school clinics, as well as participating as a guest performer and educator at the Northwoods Woodwind Summit, the American Single Reeds Summit the biannual Bemidji State University Woodwind and Piano Day and the LA Clarinet Symposium.

Dr. Cold is an experienced clarinet educator, with over 10 years of experience teaching clarinet privately.  He currently teaches clarinet at the University of Minnesota Duluth, and has held clarinet teaching positions at Bemidji State University and Minnesota State University, Mankato and McNeese State University.
