While it may not be new information for everyone, I am happy to announce that I am an endorsing artist for E-Rousseau Mouthpieces and Ligatures. I have been using these products exclusively for nearly 8 years and would recommend them to all students and skill levels for their fantastic control and sensitivity to articulation. I currently use the RC4 for alto saxophone and it is by far the best mouthpiece I have ever owned.
Please contact me if you have any questions regarding my experience with E-Rousseau Mouthpieces, as I would be more than happy to offer my input on them. Additionally, please visit www.eugene-rousseau.com for more details!
I am happy to announce that I have recently accepted the position of Instructor of Saxophone at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN. I am looking forward to joining the faculty this coming 2016-17 academic year!
I just recently received news that my 2015 World Saxophone Congress proposal to perform "flux-mirror" by composer Sam Krahn has been accepted. I'm looking forward to my trip to Strasbourg, France this summer!

It was a pleasure to perform a guest recital this past Friday at the University of North Texas, and I was very thankful for such a strong turnout. Additionally, it was great experience talking with/working with the composition department during Sam Krahn and my lecture on composition and electroacoustic music.
Thanks to Professor Eric Nestler for offering me the opportunity to perform my electronic recital for his studio during my travels!
My proposals were recently accepted for the 2015 NASA region 3 conference, taking place at Drake University. While there I will perform flux-mirror by Minneapolis based composer, Sam Krahn. Additionally, the ZA Quartet will be performing Marc Mellits' Revolution in it's entirety. I am excited for the opportunity to perform as well as listen to a weekend full of great music!
